Everyone has a different opinion about what the impact of AI would be on jobs. I thought I’ll also share my own opinion and some data points. In general, successful technology always impacts some jobs. It also makes humans more efficient and useful. Here are some of the areas I can think of will have impact:

Generative AI Impact: The impact is less direct, but creative tasks in content creation, like basic writing and design, may see changes as Generative AI becomes more capable.
New Job Opportunities:
AI Impact: Creates demand for roles in AI development, machine learning, data science, and AI ethics. These are high-skilled positions requiring expertise in managing and optimizing AI systems.
Generative AI Impact: Opens up new roles in managing, curating, and enhancing AI-generated content. Creative industries may see an increase in positions focused on overseeing and improving the quality of content produced by Generative AI.
Specialized Skills and Training:
AI Impact: Increased demand for workers with expertise in AI-related fields, leading to a shift in educational and training priorities towards developing AI-related skills.
Generative AI Impact: Similar to AI, there is a need for specialized skills in managing and working with Generative AI systems, requiring specific training and education.
